  • Georgia is home to 27 major pulp and paper mills that annually ship $10 billion in pulp and paperboard products worldwide,
    employ 26,000 Georgians and have an annual payroll of $1.2 billion.


  • More than 800 food processing establishments dot the state, employing 70,000 workers and shipping products
    valued at $16 billion annually. Georgia's food processing industry is diverse in terms of size, production and geographic distribution.
    Its annual payroll is almost $2 billion.


  • More than 700 Georgia companies ship apparel, carpet and textile products valued at over $20 billion annually.
    The industries employ 107,000 workers in Georgia and generate an annual payroll of over $2.7 billion.
